The book is not well assembled or easy to read as this is a copy of a copy of film from 1968...so not easy to go through to fine a Temperance E. Parkard.

So here is what I have regarding the line I am working on:

5th generation

Lt. Joseph Packard (son of Joseph): "of age" when his father made his will 1 Jly 1756-p.r. he d 25 Oct 1800 (try Pelham-Parmenter* or Wilmington VT for death) m Sarah Johnson 27 Dec 1748- seh b 1732-d ante 1783 -dau Capt. David-Rebeckah (Washborn)Johnson- res Brookfield. Pelham & Parment r.
Ch Packard:

Winslow b. 1750- m. Abigail dau Judah-Mary (Swift) Moore 18 Feb 1782
Timothy b. 1752 m. Betty Fairbanks, int 5 Nov 1772 Brookfield v.r.- she of Western

Sarah b. 1771- bp 14 Jne 1772- d 10 Jne 1779 in 8th y Brookfield

Notes: p.r. Joseph d ae it is either 73 or 78- res Bridgewater, Pelham-innholder Pelham-moderator-Repesentative.
Reg-& Recorder's office. Springfield, Hampden Co. Mass. Vol 18 p 378- 1779- Joseph Packard of Mass. Bay Colony, gentleman of Pelham--then follows deed recordings, Sarah signed too until deed 1783. from then on only Joseph.
Witt. to these deeds were Asaph Lyon, Thos. Thompson. Winslow and Timothy Packard

6th Generation
Susan Packard (D Joseph)b 1759- Brookfield- d 2 Apr 1801 Wilmington, VT m Theophilus Foster 22 June 1775. He b. 16 Mar 1754 Brookfield. d- 8 Oct 1833 Wilimington, Vt. Rev war soldier. Capt. Wright's Co. march to alarm Apr 1775- farmer at Brookfield until removing to Vt. 1795- had "light complexion, blue eyes" (He m 2d Hannah Crosby-no issue)
It then lists Susanna and Theophilus's 10 children.

Someone spent me this info which may or may not help you:
Joseph was a member of Shay's Rebellion & a fellow named Bruce is supposed to have married his daughter Temperance. I have looked for articles on Shay's Rebellion which might help to no avail. He also was a delegate to early meetings held in the formation of the Constitution.

Now someone else told me this info was from the Fike book before I had the book, so not sure the information is worth anything as it does not match the book at all.

Joseph Packard Jr, born at Bridgewater 1725, married Dec 27,1748 to Sarah Johnson daughter of Capt. David Johnson of West Bridgewater.
Children:
Winslow 1751 Born Bridgewater
Timothy 1752 " "
Temperance 1754 " "
Levi 1755 " "
Susanna 1759 " "
Sarah June 14, 1772 Born Brookfield MA (died soon after being born)

Winslow graduated from Dartmouth College in 1777 and Married (Feb 18th, 1782) Abigail Moore, of Wilmington Vt. and was settled in ministry in Wilmington, Vt., July 3, 1781, and died there Oct. 12, 1784, aged 33. (The Genealogies of Samuel Packard of Bridgewater, Mass., and of Able Packard, of Cummington, Mass." by Theophilus Packard of Manteno, Ill. ---- New York: G. W. Wheat & Co., Printers, * Spruce Street. 1871.) Pg. 29 Also on same page it mentions that he long with his brother John went to Brookfield in 1760.

Again is anyone has the information I am needing please let me know.
