My research on my husband's Everett/North line in MI has finally led to the Marriage of Rozwell Everett Sr and Rosamond Packard 29 Apr 1814 Perinton Twp, Monroe County, NY. Their son, Russell (b. 9 Jan 1820 Sharon, Litchfield County, CT; d. 27 Nov 1848 Lansing, Ingham County, MI) md. Eliza Ann North 25 Sep 1842/1843. They had two children - 1) Naoma Jane (b. 1 Jul 1843 MI; d. 21 Aug 1907 Lompoc, Santa Barbara County, CA; md Charles J Young 1 Jul 1867 St Johns, Clinton county, MI) and 2) Nathan R (b. abt 1847 MI, d. 6 May 1864 in the Battle of Bull Run in VA). My husband descends from Naoma. The records for Lansing, MI to NOT start until 1860's. I've wondered what was Russell death caused by ... logging, illness or what? Does anybody have any knowledge about this?
