Hi Ramona,
These two are my ancestors, I have Martha Packwood, their daughter, marrying Johnson Thompson, I descend through them to Elizabeth Thompson, who married James Harvey Carter, then through Lorenzo Dowell Carter & Pauline Frasher, to Melvin Carter & Clara Alice Miller.
I have some on the Spaulding Family, not much though.I do have John as Nancy's brother, but didnot know he came to Lawrence Co. Ky also, or Floyd Co back then. I have Richard dying ca 1830 in law. Co. Ky, Nancy must have remarried, since she is a Casey in the 1850 Law Co. Ky Census listing some children, and incidently, Lucinda is a Packwood not a Casey as given in that census.But in my family I do have Lucinda as being older than Fortner Packwood?? So I am puzzled also by this.
