I have been trying to find out about Mary Packwood also - she is a grandmother. Interesting about William Davis and the indians - do you have any more information about him. I know about his son, Jacob and his wife Elizabeth. Elizabeth is buried in Pickaway county in Ohio. Records I have turned up show the Wm Davis and Mary Packwood getting married in 1784 but Jacob, his son, is reported to be born in 1770. Was William a Revolutionary War soldier ? Any info you can share will be deeply appreciated.
