Hello All, I would be very interested in sharing any info any one may have. I'm assuming the George Painting Janine referred to is the same one that is in my tree. His brother Thomas (b.1834) is my 2nd ggf. I was only able to trace back to George's GF James before I got stuck. I have a few copies of old pairsh registry entries for James and Richard/etc if anyone collects such documentation. I was always interested in the Australian connection. Sharyn Hilton (previous posts) is likely related as well as she also has "Painting" ancesters b. in Farnbourgh around 1800. Regards, John (jlpainting@hotmail.com)
