I have information regarding aJohn and Margaret Pallister. She was born in west aukland feb 4 1830. He was born in Streetlam York England on March 5 1834. His father John Pallister was born in Streetlam York England in 1793. Margarets maiden name was Blenkinsop. At one time they lived in Crook England because thier son George Chistopher was born there in 1869. The Pallister Family of this line owned two farms at one time. Redhouse Farm and Watergate Farm near Crook. John Pallister Born in 1834 purchased redhouse farm as an adult but he purchased it because the farm had been in the Pallister Family 200 years previous to this. This dates the Pallisters back to the Crook area about the middle to late 1600's. Hope this helps somebody.
