I have some "New info. re: James Richard Pardue. He was born on 07 Oct. 1850 in Union Parish, La. and his wife was Melissa Carrie Warren born on 01 Jan. 1869 and died on 01 Jan. 1949. They had nine children: #1. Joseph Beauford was born in 1887 and died in 1965, and was married to Virginia Tilley.:#2.James Arthur #3.Jesse Carl #4.was my grandmother; ALICE "JOY" PARDUE;#5. Willie Mae was born in 1918and died in 1960; #6. Lydia Lee (might have married a "Page") #7.Susie Jane #8. Theodore Rosevelt #9. Vera Bea.; My grandmother: Alice "Joy" Pardue, was born on 14 Oct. 1893 in Ashland, La. and she died on 10 April 1994 in Houston, Tex. She was married on 23 Mar. 1913 to: Jackson "Jack" Cheatwood, who was born on 03 April 1895 in Cleburne Co., Ala. and he died on 10 April 1974 in Houston, Tex. Malissa "Carrie Warren-Pardue's parent's were Arthur M. Warren,born on05 Jan. 1868, and his wife : Malissa Ann Rushing,was born in 1851 in Louisiana. Malissa Ann Rushing's parent's were Burrell Hicks Rushing born on 17, Mar. 1824 in Perry Co., Tn. and he was married to Malissa Cloud who was born in 1823.contact me: gloriamarshall2000@yahoo.com.
