Bessie, I decided that my Elizabeth Paugh is on p. 77 of 1850 Troy, Athens Co. census. Her father is Benjamin b. 1810 born in Virginia and her mother is Amanda b. 1813. All the remainder born in Ohio. Elizabeth b. 1835/1836 I believe, but age was hard to read. I think it says 14. Pauline b. 1840, Amanda b. 1842 and Eber b. 1830. These were on the 1850 index. The other Paughs you mentioned seeing on index must be related. I know the John p. 99 was 90 yrs. old. That's what I have so far. I think Elizabeth is buried at Coolville cemetery in Athens County, Ohio. Have you discovered more since your Feb. 1999 message?
