my mothers family is from croatia. her father was pete/george pavicic and her mother was evka pavicic. evka was from the mountains and had many brothers and sisters, magda, john, peter, she came to canada at 17 to be with a brother but he died two weeks later in a mining accident, the family then married her to pete pavicic. i don't know the spelling of the town she was from but is sounded like lovasnasleek. i do know the village she was from was bombed and the church was destroyed, unfortunately that includes all records of births and deaths.
