Hi Gavin, Michaela here...

I just heard about the family connection to Pirate / Privateer Harry Paye. Very interesting. Apparently there was something about him on Antiques Roadshow which has brought the whole subject up again. Apparently the residents of Poole even celebrate "Paye Day" on 09 September
