Hi, GAil...I read this with interest...a new name that has come to my attention is Pebley...in connection with my Collets of WAshington/Greene Co.s Tennessee. There has been some conjecture that the wife of my Isaac collet, born 1760 might have been a Pebley. Do you have any information about such an intermarriage? Any Andrew Pebleys in the mix? I ask this because an apparent son of Isaac's, second son, is named Andrew and the rest of their children have Biblical names....so I am guessing perhaps Isaac's wife named him for her family.
