Pegg-Wilson early 1800s info discrepancy

Serious Pegg researchers I know list Nancy/Ann Pegg, who married Thomas Wilson, as the daughter of Daniel Pegg4 (Daniel3, Nathan2, Daniel1). However, a NJ document recently brought to my attention, the will of a Catherine Robins (written 1806, executed 1818) names her Pegg children, among whom is Ann, wife of Thomas Wilson. Did Daniel4 have two wives, Elizabeth ___ and Catherine ____, was the one wife "Elizabeth Catherine" or vice-versa? And, most importantly, what document(s) is(are) the basis of listing Ann/Nancy Pegg Wilson as the daughter of Dan4. (Is anybody else getting dizzy from trying to sort out these early Peggs?)
