Hello,
I was pleased to find your reference to Deborah Clapp Pegg posted. I am researching the Clapp line in New York City. Henry Bennett Clapp was the brother of Deborah and son of Abel S. Clapp. His son Franklin Halsted Clapp is my husband's grandfather.

Henry B. Clapp was born in New York City to Abel Clapp and Clarissa. His death record notes that his father was born in New York state. Do you have any information further on this line? Right now I can't get to the next generation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
