Looking For Information on a Senator Pelly from Maine (Kamalevich - Ianskii)

Can anyone give me some information or leads on a gentelman by the surname of Pelly. He was supposed to be a Senator or a Legislature from the State of Maine. My Grandpa Vladimer Ianskii (Jackinsky) who migrated from Vilnus, Lithuania and eventually ended up in Alaska was supposed to have stayed with some of his relatives. The reletaives name in Maine was Kamalavich.
Any information would be very much appreciated.
