Joseph Elexander Pelts(z), born in 1832/IN. Was in Dunklin Co. MO by 1851 where he died in 1900. Surname was once spelled Spelts(z) and many other ways. Parents said to be Wm. & Mary. Had half-bro., Samuel Johnson, born 1850, New Albany (Floyd) IN. Found Johnson with Catharine Spelse family in 1850 Floyd Co. IN census. Johnson also moved to Dunklin Co. MO and died there. Would like to exchange info.
