I have this curious newspaper article:
Mt Pleasant IA News 09 Jul 1949
Guests in the Everett Pencil home Tuesday were: Mr. and Mrs. John Pencil of Brighton, Mrs. Ira Allright, Mrs. Verne Profitt and Mrs. Keith Krouth of North Liberty, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Pencil of Keosauqua, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Norton of Rock Island, Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Loder of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pencil and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pencil of Waterloo, and Don Pencil of Bettendorf. They all attended the funeral of their uncle Gus Richards Tuesday afternoon.
Thus far have been unable to determine how the Pencil children are the nieces and nephews of Gus Richards unless it is through his wife Rosa Trautman.
Anyone recognize the folks in this article?
