Who was Sheriff Oscar M Pennington - Independence Cy Arkansas?
On the 1880 census, he was living in household
of Thomas Jefferson Owens.
By 1893, Thomas was Sheriff and Oscar was Deputy
Sheriff in Independence County Arkansas.
They both would help in the capture of the
OLYPHANT TRAIN robbers.
Thomas would name a son Oscar M Owens.
I would like to try and figure out if they were friends
or family related.
