My name is Danny Petee, and I am 29 years old. I am the grandson of Everett Andrus Petee, who was married to Madge Camile Nolte and died in the early 1940's. They lived in Protsmouth, Ohio. My father was Charles Edward Petee, who was the youngest of their four children.
A story my father used to tell me was that the name Petee came from Quebec, Canada, and was Pelee in Canada, but was changed when they came to the US? Any idea if that is remotely true?
