I have set up a site on FamilyTreeDNA for the MtDNA study - Hopestill Peterson. It can be found at:

The initial purpose of this site is to break through a genealogy brick wall and prove that the mother of Betsey Reynolds Reed is Bathsheba Randall, and that Betsey and her siblings are descendants of John and Priscilla Alden. I hope there will be enough participants to form a database which may help other researchers tie their family lines into these women and advance their research.
The maternal line is as follows:
Mary Churchill < Hannah Doty/Doten < Ruth Delano < Hopestill Peterson < Bathsheba Randall < Betsey Reynolds Reed < Ellen A. Reed Cole.
