Halmstad B:5 Emibas migration file ID: Halmstad N 1873 052 Un-normalized versions: Country of destination: Usa ****************************** I checked the birth of Anna Charlotta to see if the father might have been Peter, Petter, Per, etc. and yes, he was. http://www.arkivdigital.net (subscription) SE/LLA/13259 Långaryd CI:5 (1829-1852) Bild 155 / sid 305 Anna Charlotta was born 22 January and baptised 25 January in Långaryd parish in Halland county. Her parents were Peter Rundvall and "its" wife Sara Svensdotter. The parents lived at Käringenäs in the parish. The parents had been married ?2 years (32? 12? something else?) Baptism witnesses were also listed. Anna Charlotta apparently used her father's surname (Rundvall) and not her own patronymic last name (Petersdotter). Petersdotter literally means Peter's daughter and Petersson literally means Peter's son. You have put her patronymic in the masculine form. I looked at the household examination record at the time Anna Charlotta and her son left Sweden, but the husband was not listed on that page. I don't have the time to search back in time to find who he was. That particular record is only available at the moment on SVAR. http://www.svar.ra.se (subscription) Halmstads kyrkoarkiv (Halland), Husförhörslängder, SE/LLA/13138/A I/32 (1869-1874), bildid: C0010613_00142 Maybe this is your Anna Charlotta. I am not related. Post also on the Sweden forum. Type Sweden into the "Jump to Forum" space at the top of this page. Judy Notify Administrator about this message?
