I have absolutely zero information. I had his wife as Susannah/Susan Vannoy and got an email from a Vannoy researcher stating EMPHATICALLY that THEIR Susannah did not marry John Long.

I found some research on-line that says this John married Nellie Phipps and I noticed the close associations (via census) between the Longs and the Phipps in NC and in IN. Sorry for my ignorance on this.
