Does anyone have any info on James K. Pickett born 1844 in Switzerland County, Indiana. I am looking for the names of his parents. He was in Warrick County in 1874. He married Adeline Vititoe in Spencer County Indiana in 1871. They had two children, Ida Pickett born 1875,and Neely Pickett born 1873. Ida Pickett was my grandmother. He was in the Civil War, Co. K 4th Indiana Cavalry 1862 to 1865. He died 1876 and is buried in the Old Sargeant Cemetery in Spencer County Indiana. Adeline married Elijah Whitten in 1877 after the death of James. Any information would be very much appreciated.
