Seems reasonable. BUT! Reasonable does not equate to proof. It's certainly good as a path to reseach and needs to be explored by those interested.

If you check census records, you'll find Daniel's wife, Anna, born est <1785> New York. I believe that it was the 1850 Erie Co, PA, record where I obtained the info.

Census records can easily be off a few years so don't let the 1785 / 1788 difference throw you off the trail.
