Barbara, My name is William Johnson from Albany NY. I am the great grandson of James Pilkey. My grandmother was his daughter Bessie Adele Pilkey who married Soren Thoresen. My mother was their daughter, Adele Thoresen Johnson. I have never responded to any of these geneology forums on the internet, so I don't where to go from here. I was excited to see your posting on this site. Are you related to James Pilkey? Bessie and Soren had four children and 11 grandchildren, and many great grand children and great great grand children. I grew up on Staten Island NY where Beassie and Soren moved to raise their family in the early 20th century. I don't know what information you are seeking so I guess I'll wait for your reply.
