Be aware that there are two men named Max Plavnick. One is the son of Harry and Rifka "Eva" Plavnick. The other is the son of Samuel "Simon" Plavnick, Harry's oldest son. This latter Max Plavnick, my father, married Sophie "Sue" Mendelson, graduated from University of Wisconsin (in Madison) in 1932, taught music in Racine, Wisconsin, and Ferguson (St. Louis County), Missouri.
