Going over my notes and your email you mention an aunt called Bridgit. Well there is a Bridgit Plover, who is the correct generation. Look at the following part of my tree (which is a bit hard to follow in this format): There is a Bridgit Plover who married Mr. Regan. Her brother was John Plover. I know nothing more about this John Plover. He could be your great grandfather.
