Hi Greg,
I am sure that your Grandfather is my uncle Bob.There was only one Poile family that came to Canada with the Barr Colony. Bob was a very young boy and his father was Alfred Leonard Poile and his mother was Eve Poile (nee Wippell). Alfred Robert was born in Tenterden Kent England on 6 Dec 1900
