I saved an old German Bible from being burned and thought I would offer the information in it to anyone who was would be able to identify the people listed in it.I am writing you with the hope you may have come accross some of the names I am able to read I would be willing to scan and email pages, though german language skills will be necessary to read full context.
The first page in the bible says Christine Polack 1909,
THis is mostly written in German, but can make out some information. THey apparently lived in Sylvan Grove Kansas, Family Register
POPULAtION:
11, Oct. 1909,this date is connected H.W. or W.W.Jacobs.born in Bethlehems Germ____ in Sylvan Grove Kansas
Heinrick Behrhovct(spelling is not clear, best I can do) geboren(born):_____ 11th Mar. 1866
Child of Heinrick J. Behrhovct und (and)
unlegible name.
nest line reads:
mi Christine f.M. Polack
geboren: 22nd Jan 1871
child of W.G. Polack und unknown Polack(not legible)
beugen: Edward Polack
Lorica Bent????(last name not legible, but may make sense to someone)
If you have any information on these people I would scan the information,is mostly written in German so not legible to me.
the next page has a name Clarence Heinrick Behrhovt born 3, Dec. 1910 Sylvan Grove Kansas
the following page has Harry Gustav Berhrhovt born 22, Jan 1914 in Sylvan Grove Kansas
Please write if you can identify any of these people, it is sad that this was thrown away, and I would like to know that i did my best to try to find descendants.
