My Porath's are from Regenwalde, Pommern area of Blankenhagen. My gggrandfather was born there about
Nov. 22, 1856. He came to Upper Michigan about 1880 with his brother August Frederick William Porath (He was born May 29, 1860)

In 1882 the rest of the Family came to U.P. Michigan and resided in Ford River Twp. area. They are Amilia Porath b. 1862. Anna Porath b. ? . Wilhelimilea (may be mispelled) b. Jan. 1848. She married August Giese in 1874 in Germany and had 1 son Robert. 1 female Porath unknown Died before 1900. And their Mother Friedricka Porath b. Aug. 1826. On her death certificate, filled out by her son August, it list her father as Mr Ormond.

I don't have their fathers name as he died in Germany. Can you help me out with any of this? On another sheet on Friedricka birth and death it has Ormond(Ormund), Peum or somthing in that order, it is hard to read and also has Ormont on it. Thanks for any help Dawn
