I don't have the Antoine b. 1848, but since that message I posted in 2004, I have discovered that my g-grandfather took the whole family to Worcester to live for awhile, and I must believe that he had relatives there. I haven't made the connection yet. My g-grandfather was Joseph John Premo (b. Primeau, 1857), and he was married to Marie Elizabeth Jeanes (Janes/James). His father was Newell/Noel, b. 1827 in Beauharnois. I am currently struggling to find his wife's parents. She was Urusle/Yrsule Gadebois/Gadebois. I have found many others with the same name, but cannot establish a connection with her parents. Maybe you know something about them.
