My first known ancestor was Louis Premo from France. His last name then was spelled Premeau. He was born around 1775. His children included Joseph, Thomas, Louis II, Charles, Catherine, Polly and Emily. Joseph had a child named Charles and he had a child named Joseph who was married to a Ann Fowler. They had a child named Charles who was married to a Florence Peck. The Pecks adopted Florence and her maiden name may have been McCaskey. These are my grandparents.
