My line descends from Samuel Prestridge, son of Joshua and Elizabeth. I didn't know that Elizabeth's maiden name was Grover until I read your posting. Do you have any other information about her. I also have no information behind Joshua. By the time my greatgrandmother "Lizzie" Prestidge married Sylvester Gwin in 1863, our group had dropped the "r", does anyone know anything about that?
