Hi everyone. I am Albion's Historian (NOT RELATED) Albion, Michigan, Calhoun County. Here in RIverside Cemetery there are buried several Prims. There is a Joseph Prim born in Connecticut, died near Albion on Sept 9, 1884. He came to Adrian, Michigan in 1856, and to Albion in 1868. His wife was Charlotte Taylor. They had a daughter Edith Prim born in Bath, New York, who died Feb 7, 1933 age 90. She was a fortune teller and her obit stated "Last Direct Descendant of a Well-known Albion Indian Family." Joseph & Charlotte had a son Ephraim Prim born in Bath, NY who died near Albion on Feb 16, 1915 age 73 years. Another daughter, Sarah Prim, was born Oct 28, 1856 Bath NY, died in Sheridan Twp near Albion on Dec 13, 1926. Race is listed as "RED" in Cemetery records. The Prims were full-blooded Indians. There was a son of Joseph/Charlotte, William H. Prim, born Feb 7, 1840 Bath, NY, died March 9, 1926 Albion. He went to Albion College, and was a farmer. I hope this informatio helps someone.
