Wes, some years ago I receive a letter from someone doing research on the Levi Printz and claimed he came to America as a German Hessian soldier during the Revolutionary War. I don't know if this is a valid claim, but it sounds reasonable. However, judging by the Lutheran Church records of Loudoun Co., VA, there were hundreds of families with Germanic names residing in that county. I don't believe so many German families were descendants of Hessian soldiers. So Levi Printz may or may not have been a Hessian.
The earliest record of Levi Printz I have found in the 1782 Tax List of Loudoun Co., VA. The following year, 1783, Levi Prince is listed a security on the estate administration bond of Catherine Hartman, widow of Mathias Hartman.
In 1789, four children of Levi Printz were baptized on the same day at the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, though they were born several years earlier. Levi was baptized the following year in 1790. One could surmise Levi's wife Anna Elizabeth, was already a Lutheran Christian, who had her children baptized in 1789 and finally converted her husband from Judaism to Christianity.
The deed records of Loudoun County may provide clues as to when Levi first settled there. I copied an Index of Deeds, but have not obtained photocopies. I urge you to seek these photocopies. This is what I copied from the Index to Deeds 1757-1812:
