There has been much confusion over this name. I beleive that Elijah and Elisha are the same person. Civil War records say Elijah.Census says Elisha and since his grandfathers name is Elisha Etchison it probably is Elisha. I have a family chart for Elisha (Elijah) also one for Nathan. I descend from Elisha's brother Wesley. Will be glad to share any and all information--Wilda
