I've found a Nancy Qualla listed in the 1880 Census living with my Morelands as a servant. She was 20 yrs. old at the time. I'm wondering if the name is misspelled and perhaps she's a Qualls. The census states her parents are from Kentucky. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Just curious how she came to be with my Morelands in Mountaintown, Gilmer Co., Georgia in 1880.
