Looking for info on FRANCES ELIZABETH QUANCE, born 1849, Sanilac Co., Michigan, married WILLIAM SHEFFER in 1868 in Sanilac Co., Michigan, died 1886, Cheboygan Co., Michigan. Her death certificate lists her parents as WILLIAM and ELIZABETH QUANCE of Sanilac Co., Michigan (William was born in England, Elizabeth was born in New York). But, Frances' marriage record lists her last name as RYTHMIRE. So .... I'm wondering if she was married before? I have LOTS of info on the SHEFFER line, but not much on the QUANCE line. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
