My grandmother was Hilda Quarmby, b1899 in Oldham
Her father:Wilfred Quarmby b 1871 in Ashton-under-Lyne, one of nine children (Ted, Harold, Arthur, Frank, Margaret, Lizzie, Alice, Edgar. Mother:Elizabeth Buckley.
Their father: William Quarmby b ABT 1826 at Linthwaite,Yorks.
HIs father:John Quarmby, bookseller, b ABT 1801
