ROBERT QUARTERMAN was b. in Midway, Liberty Co.,Georgia in 1744 and d. in Midway, GA on December 29, 1786. His place of residence during the Revolution was Georgia. He served as a Private. His widow, ELIZABETH BAKER QUARTERMAN, received a draw in the 1827 Georgia Land Lottery as a widow of a Revolutionary soldier. The land she drew was Lot 1, Dist. 2, in Troup Co. Robert was married to MARY WAY in 1767, and to ELIZABETH BAKER IN 1771. The only know child of Robert and Elizabeth is LYDIA QUARTERMAN, b. February 28, 1780, d.
