Can't find christening record for George in IGI, but if you go to: http://www.isle-of-man.com/cgi-bin/interests/genealogy/bulletin/index.pl?noframes
and ask for a lookup in the 1851 Census for George, b. 1845, I'm sure someone can help you find his parents.
