Hi I am looking for information on Fred and Minnie QUELCH of Whiting Vermont. I have a 1919 "pocket" diary recorded by Minnie. *diary states that Minnie was born on Feb 9 (no year given).

Some other first names given include: Katie (sister?), Walter (brother?), Grace (cousin), Robert (turned 7 on Mar 8, 1919)[son?], Ralph

Other names: Arthur Bosturich, Denton (surname)--who Fred worked for, Mrs. Fred Rawson?, Ralph Goodrich (died Mar 18, 1919), Katie Webster, Allen Hitchcock, Mrs Quinn, Mrs. Mulholland, Mrs. Dana, Maud Andther?, Dorothy Webster, Lizzy Aines (Minnie's aunt), Jessie Collins, Aziar/Azia, Gauthur/Ganthur?, Mr. Haynes, Dr Hatsof Nuth

On Mar 10, 1918, Minnie states that "all are sick",and on Mar 14--"the children are better" so assume maybe she and Fred had several children. Aug 13, 1919 baby boy born (on Aug 20, named him: Walter Coolee Quelch--may have added the name William or Mullian to it.

I am sorry this is long, but I wanted to present names in case someone can identify with this couple. I received the diary along with several others. Two at least are written by Frank W Steele (my g-grandfather from New Hampshire). I have not read all the diaries yet, but am in the process of "transcribing" them. I am most eager to hear if the Quelch family might be of some kin to the Steele family.

I hope someone can help me with this couple. Thank you Sue
