About 1930 a brother (or nephew) of my grand-grandfather emigrated from Pirmasens (Germany) to America. His name may be Wilhelm Raab (his wife perhaps Ruth). But I´m not quite sure. Last contact took place in Idar-Oberstein (Germany) between 1945 and 1948, when his son Thomas Raab visited his German relatives as an American soldier.
