Looking for anyone researching this family or any other Raabs from LaSalle or Grundy Co., in the mid to late 1800's. Joseph Raab, born abt. 1832 in Prussia (?), may have come to the US on ship Aeolus, Apr 28, 1852, 20 yrs. of age, arrival at Baltimore, Md., made his way to LaSalle Co., Ill. where he wed Cathrine Graley/Kraly May 1, 1859 in Ottawa, LaSalle Co., Ill. They are found in 1860 in LaSalle Co., in 1870 and 1880, they are found in Greenfield, P.O. Goodfarm, Grundy Co., Ill, which is next Co. over from LaSalle. I know that one son, Austin, moved to Chicago, where he wed Olga Zielke, Nov 16, 1887. what happened to Joseph and Catherine after 1880 and the rest of the children, names Austin, William, Mary, John, James, Nellie, and Alice, this is my brick wall on this line. any help would be appreciated. thanks Gail
