I am searching for the parents of Emma C. Rabb but I have only her children's names to go on. I know she married Calvin S. Palmer in 1857. Their children were Lewis Bascomb, Caroline Belle, Mary Ella, Nicholas Rabb (or Robert), Nehemiah Parsons, Naomi Augusta, and Abel Norwood. The 1860 - 1880 censuses indicate the family lived in East Feliciana Parish, LA.
Lewis was born 1859 and died 1915 in East Baton Rouge Parish, LA.
Caroline was born 8/1863, died after 1900, married John Ledbetter Smith in 1888, had children Annie, Ella, Emma, Calvin, and Riggins.
Mary Ella was born 8/1865, still living as of 1900 but may never have married
Nicholas was born 1867 and died 1922 in East Baton Rouge Parish. He married Laura Wright in 1890. They had a number (perhaps 9) children; handwriting on census hard to decipher.
Nehemiah Parsons was born 1867 and died 1912 in East Feliciana Parish. He married Minnie G. They had at least one child Vernon born 1899.
Naomi Augusta was born 1869 and married Drury McVea Smith, brother of John Ledbetter Smith who married sister Caroline.
Abel Norwood was born about 1874.
