Am looking for info re: my paternal grandmother - Ida Rabot - whose family ended up in south Louisiana (St. Landry Parish and later Lafayette Parish)... She was born in the Port Barre area, married Onesiphore Toutcheque and they lived in Youngsville, La. where she died in 1956. I have seen various spellings of her last name (Rabot, Rabeau and Rabeaux) but do not know the original spelling of her surname nor from what country her ancestors originated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
