Michael Rabenold b.20 Aug., 1770/ d. 17 May 1831 and Christina Haas b. 20 Apr., 1777/d.8 June 1850 (dau. of Henrich Haas, Sr. & Catherine Breinig) had seven (7) children:
-Solomon b.5 May, 1798
-Carl (Charles) b.5 Mar.,1800/d. 29 Jan.,1881
-Peter b. 9 Apr.,1802/d. 29 Nov., 1867
-Sarah b. 16 Jan., 1805
-Elizabeth b. 10 Jan., 1807
-Isaac b. 16 Mar.,1809/ d. 20 Jan., 1866
-Julian b.15 June 1812
Peter married Susanna Weiss in July of 1820
Carl, I believe, married her sister, Catherine Weiss,b.22 Feb., 1804/d. 6 Jun., 1844.
Carl and Catherine had at least two and possibly four children:
-Jonas b. 27 Aug., 1824/d. 7 Dec., 1904 (m. Carolina Moyer)
-Amos b.23 Sept., 1826/d. 19 Aug., 1910 (m. Fainna (Anna) Snyder)
-Nathen
-Frances (Francis)
I'd love to get the papers on Christina Haas.
Aurthur Haas may have given me some of these back in 1980, but maybe not. Arthur was a trasure chest of information. His office was a mess, but he always knew exactly where all the info was! It was amazing to see. I only wish I had had more time to spend with him and that he had had more patience with my youthful questions and inexperience back then!
