My GG-Grandmother Margaret LaFRAMBOISE was born 15 March, 1867 in Pembina Dakota Territory, daughter of Marie LaFRAMBOISE and Unknown Metis...Granddaughter of Louis LaFRAMBOISE and Marie Louise MARTEL.. Margaret was baptised in 1880 age 12 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bismarck, North Dakota, her Godparents were ROBIDAU/ROBIDEAUX/or other variation....my Grandmother is currenty searching through the house for the baptism record she went and got from the church. Over the phone last night she remembered another piece of information about ROBIDEAUX/ROBIDAU...said her father (son of Margaret) used to talk about "Old Man" Robideaux and that sometimes he was called "Crane Neck" ROBIDEAUX/ROBIDAU or "Craey/Cray Neck" " Grandma says the later, but if ya say it fast enough it sounds like Crane Neck..long neck or something? HAHA...anyways Great-Grandpa said we were related to this man through the LaFRAMBOISE side. He must of been living in Bismarck. There is an Oral History of a Joe and Antonia ROBIDAU at the North Daktota Historical Society that was recorded in Bismarck, 1975...I wonder if this is them?
