Amos was married to Mary. Are located on the 1885 Territorial Census on line at North Dakota Institute of Regional Studies-Archives: ROBIDOU, Amos, age 46, farmer, b. Canada , Mary, age 36, b. Minnesota , Anna, age 18, b. Minnesota , Jno., age 75, b. Canada , Mary, age 100, b. Canada (address: 7th Street) There are 21 Total ROBIDOU listed living in Bisamrck. I know he owned land here, and the only possible match is located in the Burleigh County Land Patent database: ROBIDON, Amos, TWP. 138, 160 Acres, date 31 Dec. 1890. There were other ROBIDON's in Burleigh County Land Patent Database: John H. ROBIDON William ROBIDON I really doubt there is a blood connection to my LaFramboise line like my Grandma says. Grandma's Grandmother Margaret LaFramboise was the Goddaughter of Amos and Mary. Godparents used to be taken very seriously and a lot of times considered "relatives" of the family.
