Grgrandfather Augustus b.abt.1848 LaPointe, Madeline Island, Wisc. Need proof of parents. Marriage record of Holy Family Catholic Church in Bayfield, Bayfield Co., Wisc. 1880 to Charlotte G(ordon) Morrow has parents listed as Auguts Rabideaux and Margaret Chalou. Is this Ignace & Magdalene Chalout? Can't find my Augustus in their house for census records 1850-. Augustus died abt.1903 at Odanah, Bad River Resv. Wisc. not on his allotted land. 5 children with only 1 (my grandmother Maggie) living past infancy. Augustus (Gus), Charlotte and Maggie all registered thru Bad River. Can anyone with ANY info please contact me at shaffer73304@msn.com
