Hello Rose - I am interested in the fact that you were told your grandmother Rabon was Indian. My Gr. Gr. Rabon was Mary Ann, who married John Andrew Jackson Kelly. Our Grandmother always told us her mother was part indian and their home was burned out by the Klan because "Grandpa had married a half-breed", but we have never been able to prove that. None of the Rabon's I have contacted claim to have indian blood. She was the daughter of Abraham Rabon and Rebecca Branham - born in 1861, died March 16, 1892 - had a brother George who died a few days later - do we have a connection?
